I just want to feel less lonely
seeking connection in the static world of video calls

Late November 2020 I was accepted into a remote artist residency by SPACE10 and Are.na, called 'The New Everyday Life'.

This zine looks into the static world of video calls. It's about loneliness, and human behaviour, during this time of isolation.

I based the illustrations off video calls with fellow residents as well as personal calls with friends and family, and I looked into my own behaviour of hiding "undesirable" and vulnerable things from the curated frame of the video call.
